extension should be light and airy. The strands of hair should separate
in the wind as does natural hair. It should have a natural "flat"
shine. One has to be careful with fake hair that reflected light
doesn't sparkle so much that your head of hair takes on a Barbie-doll
quality. Cheap is for play dolls and quality is for the living dolls.
It goes without saying that it works best when squeaky clean.
