Hair Extensions Guide

Extensions are only recommended under these conditions:


  • IF clients own hair is at least 3"

  • IF client wants to blend natural hair (Not "completely" cover it)

  • IF client wants to add fullness.

  • IF client wants to add length (Or fullness & length)

  • IF client has fine hair

  • IF braid-in extensions slip out. (a.k.a. Weaves)

  • IF client's hair is NOT over-processed.

  • IF client doesn't have ongoing hair loss due to temporary or permanent situations.

  • In this situation, a client needs alternative

  • Resources such as: A Wig, A Hairpiece, A "Custom" Wig or Hairpiece, REMEMBER, not everyone can wear extensions. When it comes to hair addition services, every client’s situation will vary from one another.

  • A Consultation is the first step; whether it is Extension services, Wig services or Hairpiece services, to determine what is most appropriate.

  • Other issues to consider; You need to dedicate time and money for their proper care.

how can hair extensions be made directly to my own hair and have it act like my own natural hair. THat I can wash, comb, or do whatever to. Is that even possible? If so, how much would that cost and how long would that take?
