Hair Extensions Guide
Extensions are only recommended under these conditions:
- IF clients own hair is at least 3"
- IF client wants to blend natural hair (Not "completely" cover it)
- IF client wants to add fullness.
- IF client wants to add length (Or fullness & length)
- IF client has fine hair
- IF braid-in extensions slip out. (a.k.a. Weaves)
- IF client's hair is NOT over-processed.
- IF client doesn't have ongoing hair loss due to temporary or permanent situations.
- In this situation, a client needs alternative
- Resources such as: A Wig, A Hairpiece, A "Custom" Wig or
Hairpiece, REMEMBER, not everyone can wear extensions. When it comes to
hair addition services, every client’s situation will vary from one
another.
- A Consultation is the first step; whether it is Extension
services, Wig services or Hairpiece services, to determine what is most
appropriate.
- Other issues to consider; You need to dedicate time and money for their proper care.
